QM Group will expand its injection molding business in the U.S.

The Quality Model Group (The QM Group), a Canadian plastic injection molding company, will invest US$9.5 million to expand its plastic injection molding business in Orangeburg County, the United States.

The Quality Model Group (The QM Group), a Canadian plastic injection molding company, will invest US$9.5 million to expand its plastic injection molding business in Orangeburg County, the United States.

Through investment, a total of 37 jobs will be created in the region.

The plant is located at 190 Global Drive in Orangeburg, South Carolina, USA. It is operated by the group's plastics division.

Over the years, the molding plant has invested more than US$16 million and created 100 new jobs.

Bill Szekesy, founder and owner of QM Group, said: "The QM Group is pleased to use this investment to reaffirm our confidence in the Orangeburg community and South Carolina to develop appropriate competitive advantages for our business.

"Our preference for this location has been established and we have now designated it as our U.S. operational headquarters. We are happy to be part of the growing corporate community who now call South Carolina their home."

QM Group is headquartered in Ontario, Canada, and provides customers with mold manufacturing, injection molding, polyurethane molding, thermoforming and secondary assembly services. "Over the years, the molding plant has invested more than US$16 million and created 100 new jobs."

It currently has manufacturing plants in Indiana, Michigan, South Carolina and Ontario, Canada.
